How does the Spiritmaster build work?
Spiritmaster layers debuffs and spirit interactions rather than treating every button as an independent attack. The useful sequence depends on which spirit is present, the support buffs you have prepared and whether the target remains attackable long enough to use the fusion window.

Who this build suits
Players who enjoy planning summon order, maintaining debuffs and adapting spirit choices to resources or mechanics.
What to watch for
The setup takes attention. A spirit too far away or an unnecessary summon change can weaken the expected interaction or delay an important utility action.
What should you check before using this loadout?
These checks apply the Spiritmaster reference-client guide to the choices below. Verify current regional tooltips before relying on an unlock or changing a defensive assignment.
Confirm the spirit can participate
Check where the spirit is relative to the target before committing the rest of the setup. A target change or movement phase can leave the intended interaction poorly positioned. Learn what each summon contributes in your current client before accelerating the sequence. Repeatedly changing summons without a purpose can consume time needed for damage or assigned utility.
Connect preparation to the fusion window
Prepare Spirit Benediction and Flame Blessing when equipped, then apply useful debuffs such as Joint Corrosion before the main interaction. Choose Dimensional Control and Elemental Fusion around the summons actually present. Keep Ancient Spirit for a targetable period. Each step supports the following window; the bar is not a collection of unrelated cooldowns to spend immediately.
Assign utility before changing a slot
Use Magic Robbery when the group needs an eligible enemy buff removed, and verify that the effect is removable in the current encounter. If Drain is considered for recovery, inspect its actual conditions instead of assuming unlimited sustain. Compare a complete summon cycle for MP use before selecting an alternative that removes part of the original preparation.
Starting Stigma loadout
4 equippedThis is a group-PvE starting set from the cited reference-client guide. Keep the core interaction intact and change a flex slot only when the encounter gives you a reason.
Joint Corrosion
Prepare a debuff before the main spirit sequence.
Summon Ancient Spirit
A major summon window for useful uptime.
Flame Blessing
Support the chosen damage window.
Spirit Benediction
Prepare spirit support before cycling summons.
Situational alternatives
- Magic Robbery. Use when assigned to remove an eligible enemy buff.
- Drain. Situational personal recovery when the tooltip and encounter support it.
Stigma names are reference labels. Confirm the matching icon and current tooltip in your client before spending upgrade materials.
Core skills and their jobs
Understand why each skill is present before copying an endgame sequence. These are priority interactions, not a claim that the rest of your skill book is unused.
Dimensional Control
Connect the summon sequence to the next interaction.
Elemental Fusion
Spend the prepared spirit interaction.
Spirit summons
Choose the summon order for the actual encounter and resource state.
Summon Ancient Spirit
Commit when the boss will remain available.
Spiritmaster PvE rotation
A priority sequence is more reliable than a fixed macro when a boss moves, your resources drop or a conditional attack is unavailable.
- 1
Prepare Spirit Benediction and Flame Blessing when equipped, then apply Joint Corrosion and the rest of your useful debuffs.
- 2
Cycle the chosen summons into Dimensional Control and Elemental Fusion. Align Ancient Spirit with an attackable boss.
- 3
When MP limits the sequence, the reviewed reference recommends ending on Water. Keep spirit positioning and assigned dispels deliberate.
Common mistake
Spending a summon window while the boss is becoming untargetable, or forgetting the spirit's position.
Why is this Spiritmaster setup not working?
Identify the condition that failed in the encounter before changing the entire bar. The observations below are editorial troubleshooting steps, not measured performance claims.
The prepared summon window loses its target
Check whether the boss became untargetable, moved away from the spirit, or changed before the fusion sequence finished. Adjust the preparation timing or position that failed. Committing Ancient Spirit earlier is not automatically a solution. Evaluate the complete debuff-and-summon window rather than a single large tooltip, and keep the next utility responsibility in view.
The sequence exhausts MP
Observe the resource cost of one complete cycle before adding more summon changes. The cited reference recommends ending on Water when MP limits the sequence, but that adjustment still needs the current spirit tooltip and encounter context. Preserve a sustainable loop while progressing; a faster example does not establish that your character can support the same cost.
Gear and stat priorities
Choose equipment for the loop you can actually play. The order below is a decision framework; it does not claim measured best-in-slot gear, universal caps or a perfect roll on every slot.
| What to compare | Why it matters for Spiritmaster |
|---|---|
| Core summon and fusion ranks | Inspect the interactions that the selected sequence depends on. |
| Magic damage / damage boost | Compare effects across a full summon-and-fusion window. |
| Resource reliability | A sustainable sequence matters more than an expensive loop that stops early. |
| Survival and utility | Keep enough defense and control to complete the setup. |
Before rerolling equipment
Count total skill levels after the replacement, check whether the desired line can appear on that item, and keep enough resources for the next upgrade. A higher displayed combat power is not proof that an item improves this build.
Accuracy and critical needs depend on enemy defenses, buffs and the current regional patch. Use actual encounter results to identify misses or resource problems before paying for a theoretical cap.
Read the gear decision guideLeveling into the build
- Learn what each summon contributes before accelerating the entire sequence.
- Practice applying debuffs before the main damage window and observe the MP cost of a complete cycle.
- Add useful main-skill ranks and set effects together. Do not replace a coherent setup for an unverified best-in-slot ratio.
A total skill level can include bonuses from equipment and progression systems. Base investment and total level are different numbers; compare both with the specialty requirements displayed in your game.

Solo and questing
Favor a manageable summon sequence with recovery when needed. Large pulls can reduce the time available to prepare debuffs and fusion safely.
PvP considerations
Use control and eligible buff removal as tactical choices. Keep track of spirit positioning and your own escape route instead of assuming the dungeon summon sequence can run uninterrupted.
PvP notes explain adaptation priorities. They are not a separately tested competitive loadout or a current-patch ranking.
Spiritmaster build questions
Does this guide provide a universal summon order?
No. It explains the reviewed summon, control and fusion sequence, with resource and encounter adjustments. Check each spirit's current tooltip.
When is Magic Robbery useful?
When an enemy has a removable buff and you are assigned to remove it. It is a deliberate utility swap rather than automatic filler.
Why does spirit position matter to the Spiritmaster build?
The prepared sequence assumes the relevant spirit can contribute to the intended target window. Boss movement or an unnoticed position change can interrupt that assumption. Check spirit placement, debuffs, the chosen summon and remaining target uptime before changing unrelated equipment or treating the fusion sequence as an unconditional macro.
Is this the best Spiritmaster build for every server?
No. This is a documented starting point. Regional balance, skill names, encounter demands and available ranks can change the correct choices. Use the cited references and current in-game tooltips together.
